J. Smith, what’s it like being one of the city's most popular and well-liked promoters? It feels good. I really try to stay low key, but I gotta admit it has its advantages. But a lot of people don't realize how much work actually goes into consistently organizing successful events and keeping your patrons happy. I strive to do that. I also try to make sure that I have good relationships with most of the city's restaurant, club owners, and other promoters.
Tell us how long you have been in the promo game?

What got you started in this industry?
