How did you end up on a Reality Show?
I actually found it on Craig’s List, LOL. I was on there looking for entertainment jobs, and I came across the casting call for Paris Hilton’s My New BFF season 2. I was like, “Oh, what the hell”. I just figured I’d audition for the hell of it and see what happens. After all, Paris Hilton is pretty amazing. I sent in this crazy, short bio and some pics and they actually got back to me right away asking me to come audition in NYC.
What was it like being on TV?
It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. You get to see all the inside stuff that goes into filming, shooting, planning. It’s crazy watching and seeing yourself on TV, because you think, “That’s really what I look like? Sound like?” You’re outside of yourself, looking in and it’s really funny. Cameras are always around, you wear a microphone 24/7, so EVERYTHING you say and do, does NOT go unheard/un-noticed. It’s kind of annoying, but really cool too.
If you could do it again would you?
I absolutely would! Not many people get the chance to go on a national TV show and have millions of people watch you. Yeah some stuff is embarrassing and sometimes you’re like, why the hell did I do that, but you meet some super cool people along the way. And you make good connections.
Has your popularity gone up because of it?
I’d say it has. Whether it’s people talking to you about the show, and how they saw you, and what they thought, or if it’s people hitting you up on Myspace and Facebook. I definitely have some haters out there, and that’s to be expected. People like to try and bring you down when they see that you’re doing big things and getting attention. But I also have people who seem to really like me who I’ve never met before. There are websites up where fans can comment about us from the show, and some people have said some harsh things, and they know nothing about me. It’s nice to see strangers write stuff back and defend me. People are also learning a lot more about my music as well, since I’m a recording artist.
Have you received more attention from the opposite sex?
Yes, LOL. Especially online. I’ll get all these messages and comments like, “You’re hot”, “You’re sexy”, “Are you single?”, “Can I be your boyfriend?” It’s funny, cute and sometimes a little weird. I get the occasional “stalker”, but if you don’t give them the time of day, they eventually leave you alone, haha. My boyfriend isn’t the biggest fan of the male attention, but that’s what comes with the show, I guess.
Have you made any love interests on your show, or with other entertainment industry people?
Tricky question, LOL. Maybe, maybe not
Is it better to be single or in a relationship now that your famous?
It’s tough being in a relationship through everything, because there’s always the jealousy factor. And sometimes they don’t like if they’re bf/gf is in the spotlight all of a sudden. It’s def been tough for my bf and I, lately, but he’s been real understanding and supportive. I mean if you’re single, obviously you can do whatever you want, haha. Like take advantage of all the “opposite sex attention” LOL.
What is the craziest thing you have heard from a fan since being on the show?
“I want you to be my baby’s mama!” LMAO, um whatttt???
Do you think people are genuine when they approach you now?
Well when I do appearances, meet and greets or performances, I do have people who come up and try to sneak their way into where my crew is hanging out, or they’ll try to get free stuff that is given to me. Sometimes I don’t know if they really want to meet me, and listen to my music, or if they’re just trying to “get an in”. If that makes sense. Since the show, I have had people try to schmooze me to get the inside scoop about the show. You know, all the stuff that I’m not suppose to reveal
I love NYC. Greenhouse, Pink Elephant, Tenjune, Kiss n Fly, 230 & 5th, Gansevort Hotel. I love rooftop bars/lounges. Plus I like the mature/posh crowd.
What do you look for in the opposite sex?
In no particular order; sense of humor, fit body, great smile, respect, genuine, intelligence, is social, athleticism. Ugh, the list can go on and on. But I’m not picky, haha.
BrokeUp.com is all about embracing being single, so what is the best part of being single in your eyes?
You don’t have to worry about getting your partner jealous. You can date more than one person and you can have hot make-out sessions with strangers, LOL. You can just have a bit more freedom and adventure. Not that being in a relationship is so horrible. They’re just 2 completely different things, the single life and the relationship life.
What’s the funniest/craziest/horrifying experience you have had on a date?
There was this guy who just talked and talked. I think he liked to hear his own voice. Then he was placing bets on the phone about a boxing match! Plus, he kept trying to pull me in and kiss him when we were out and that was def not happening, LOL.
Be honest, do you have any stalkers yet?
Yes! And I’ve already blocked their crazy asses on Myspace and the phone. Is there such a thing as a good stalker? LOL.
Is it ok to have sex on the first date?
Hmm, another tricky question. I’m gonna go with the safe answer yes and no, haha. Yes, if you guys are ok with sleeping together with no repercussions. Then you can’t be mad if they don’t call the next day. And no, if you’re the type of person who gets attached after having sex with someone. No one likes a stage 5 clinger, LOL.
